Football heads to Sun Bowl

For the fourth-straight season, No. 24 NC State football is going bowling. That much was determined in week seven of the regular season, after the Pack picked up its sixth win of the year.

Sunday, the question of where the Pack will play was answered. NC State will head to the Hyundai Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas Dec. 29 against the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The Sun Devils finished 7-5 overall and 6-3 in conference play this season, finishing second in the Pac-12 South Division. The Pack and Sun Devils last faced off in November 1974 in Tempe, Arizona, with the Pack coming away with a 35-14 win.
