1. How will you change the daily life of students in your college if elected?
If elected, with the help of the rest of the Executive Board, I would try to implement a program that would reach out to professors to create a syllabi bank for student’s in Arts and Sciences to access sample syllabi for their major classes to use as a resource when scheduling classes.
2. What is the most important issue facing students on campus?
I belive the most important issue facing students on campus is the current budget situation. Many students in Arts &Sciences majors are currently facing difficulties in scheduling classes and completely required courses for graduation. As the largest college at the University, Arts and Sciences is going to take a huge cut in personnel which will only further affect students.
3. Where do you see the University in five years?
In five years, I believe the University will continue to florish as one of the top colleges in the nation as well as display academic excellence in all areas of the University.
4 What will you change from the past administration?
If elected, I would try to get more student input when making decisions through the use of surveys online and in classes as well, as providing more accessibility to free scantrons and blue books for A & S students.
5. Why are you qualified for the position you’re running for?
I believe that I am qualified for my position as Arts and Sciences College Council Treasurer because I served on the council for the past year. I am knowledgeable of the roles and responsibilites of Council Treasurer.
