Welcome to the third episode of The Joy of Gaming podcast, NC State’s first ever video games podcast, in association with the N.C. State Technician. On this episode, Host Rich Lepore, co-host Tim MacNeil and special guest Austin Lipcsak discuss what games they’ve been playing recently, and go in depth about Super Street Fighter 4 and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction.
Tim and Austin are big fighting game fans, so expect some heated debate about Street Fighter’s past, present and future, and the current state of fighting games in general, including a bit of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and 3 discussion.
The guys also had a chance to sit down with Splinter Cell: Conviction and play both the co-op and single player campaigns, so tune in for their thoughts on both halves of this much anticipated whole.
The music in this episode includes tracks from the Street Fighter 4 Original Soundtrack composed by Hideyuki Fukasawa, and a remix of “The President’s Office Theme” from Splinter Cell by Michael Richard Plowman.
