University Human Resources recently announced a three-year-long strategic plan to improve the NC State community’s work culture through engagement and inclusion, according to NC State News.
There are five priorities that were created after input from several campus partners such as the members of both faculty and staff senates and Chancellor’s Cabinet. According to the website, the priorities are People and Culture, HR Continuous Improvement, Professional Development and Training, HR Metrics and Workforce Analytics and finally, HR Strategy and Operations Administration.
The ways in which these priorities will be executed, according to NC State News, include providing various HR services that would be helpful for faculty and staff, investing in professional development and analyzing the success of HR initiatives.
Each part of the plan, according to the site, is to improve the professional working environment at NC State and encourage productivity and excellence within the workforce.
