An NC State police car is parked in the Brickyard on Nov. 20, 2018. The campus police department provides services including the Wolf Guard ID and Ride-Along Program, safety escort services and lost and found property.
Following yesterday’s WolfAlert, another was issued on Feb. 6 to NC State students, highlighting two burglaries that occurred this week on Ligon Street.
According to the WolfAlert, the incidents occurred between noon on Sunday, Feb. 3 and 5 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6 on campus property.
The location, 3230 Ligon St., is very close to the address of yesterday’s WolfAlert, 3210 Ligon St., the location of burglary and vehicle theft.
David Kelly, major of field operations at the NC State University Police Department, said that not much is known at this time and that investigations are underway.
While the two incidents occurred in the same area, it is unclear if the burglaries and vehicle theft are connected.
There is no suspect description available.
Anyone with information regarding the incidents should contact campus police at 919-515-3000.
