From Sept. 15 to Oct. 15, Latinx Heritage Month celebrates the heritage, culture and contributions of the Latinx community in the United States. Every year, NC State’s Multicultural Student Affairs puts on events in honor of Latinx Heritage Month. According to MSA, the theme for the 2019 Latinx Heritage Month at NC State is “LatinXistence” and focuses on the experiences of being a young Latinx person in the United States.

Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers General Body Meeting
Monday, Sept. 30, 8 p.m.

Latinx Barrio Party 2019
Tuesday, Oct. 1, 11:30 a.m.
General Scott Courtyard near Nelson Hall
Hosted by Poole College of Management Diversity and Inclusion, this event will feature catering by Alpaca and Gonza Tacos y Tequila, a cumbia dance demo and Spanglish, an alumni-owned food truck serving Puerto Rican cuisine. Latinx Market Buying Power

The Voices of Our People: Nuestras Verdades
