Sofar is an expanding network of artists and music lovers founded in 2010, boasting intimate gigs in offices, on rooftops, and other unique places across 242 cities around the world. Popular artists such as Hozier, Bastille, and George Ezra have participated in Sofar events — replacing the emphasis on the music and the experience.
Sofar Sounds Raleigh/Durham took place in the Visual Arts Exchange (VAE) in Raleigh's Warehouse District on Saturday, April 23, 2016. Full line-ups are a secret until attendees arrive, but Sofar promises an "ecletic mix of 3 amazing acts" at every show.
