Information Technology unveiled a service that allows students, staff and faculty to connect to the universities wireless service at any university in the world that uses the program education roaming or Eduroam.
The university began offering Eduroam on Dec. 14, according to Ashley Berthelot, editor of public affairs for the university.
Eduroam is widely available at universities in Europe and Asia, according to Berthelot. Other U.S. universities that offer Eduroam are Harvard University and University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
