Amedeo’s Italian Restaurant has brought delicious food, community and Wolfpack traditions to Raleigh for over 62 years.
The 2014 PackHowl Homecoming Concert featuring T-Pain, Jeremih, and headliner Big Sean was the first since its inception to sell out. Students poured into Reynolds Coliseum Thursday evening for the show sponsored by the Union Activities Board.

The State Fair returned to Hillsborough St. Oct. 16-26. Visitors from across the state were greeted by amusement rides, giant produce, poultry and livestock shows, racing pigs, a multitude of live performances, and rows upon rows of fried foods.

The 2014 Shack-a-Thon returned to the Brickyard Sept. 22-26. The annual event, in which 20 student groups build and inhabit shacks 24 hours a day for 5 days, raises money for the Wake County Habitat for Humanity to build homes locally and abroad.

Capital City BikeFest returned to downtown Raleigh this weekend for the 10th consecutive year. Visitors to Fayetteville St. and the Ray Price Harley-Davidson dealership were able to see custom-made bikes, BMX demos, several concert performances, and motorcycle rallies.

The smell of freshly prepared chocolate confections wafted through the halls of Carmichael Gym Friday, Sept. 19, as students and visitors took part in the NC State Women's Center's Chocolate Festival. The annual event is hosted to raise funds for breast cancer research.

The 29th Annual International Festival took place at the Raleigh Convention Center this past weekend. Attendees had the opportunity to see cultural performances, learn from cultural exhibits, watch cooking and dance demonstrations, and taste a variety of ethnic cuisines.

More than 55,000 people made it out to Hillsborough St. Saturday to celebrate the third annual Packapalooza street festival.  Visitors had the opportunity to visit craft booths, meet Wolfpack athletes, tour the Belltower, taste a variety of street foods, and watch live musical performances.
