Lucas Kozeniesky, a junior studying sport management and member of the NC State rifle team practices in Broughton Hall on Oct. 20. Kozeniesky has led the team in both the air rifle and small-bore disciplines every year of his career and broke the program record last year for aggregate total score with a tally of 1,173. He also matched the school record in air rifle three times.

Jassica Boynton is currently a chef in On the Oval dining facilities on Centennial Campus. Boynton was featured on the 16th season of reality show, “Hell’s Kitchen”.

Paddy O'Beers, located in downtown Raleigh, is a bar that offers craft brews on tap and bottled beers along with patio seating. The proposed change to Raleigh city ordinance would have limited drinking and eating outside bars and restaurants. Paddy O’Beers owner Zack Medford believes the proposal is targeted at businesses like his. Medford started an online petition that has garnered more than 2300 signatures in order to counter this proposal.

Hindus are urging North Carolina schools, public as well as private, which have significant number of Hindu pupils, to include Diwali, the most popular Hindu festival, as a school holiday in their 2015-2016 school calendars and beyond. Besides Hindus, it is also celebrated by Sikhs, Jains and some Buddhists.

Anna Manzoni, a faculty in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology does one of the many Yoga asanas taught at Recreation Center on July 8th. Yoga is a part of the summer group fitness classes conducted by University recreation. " I come here very often. I like the class, it helps relieve the stress", Manzoni said. Yoga instructor Audrianna Pollen, a graduate student in zoology feels that Yoga not only helps alleviate any kind of stress but also helps increasing strength and flexibility. "This (Yoga) is something I have done my whole life. I started teaching here since December and I simply love it. This is a great program and other instructors are very supportive. I highly encourage people to get trained and become instructors," Pollen said.

Janne Louise Ave, a Junior studying Computer Science teaches Kickboxing to students at Recreation Center on Monday evening. "I love fitness. Kickboxing is filled with so much energy and fun. You don't have to do squats and stuff to stay fit. I want to impact others by inspiring them to live a healthy lifestyle", Ave said. Ave also did Martial arts for 6 years. Morgan Danyi, a senior studying Food Science and Nutrition who is taking her classes finds the class very useful. " Its a lot of fun. I have done fitness classes before. it is a good mix of cardio and dance", Danyi said.

Wolfline is NC State's bus service which is tailored to student class schedules, but also serves the general public fare-free. Wolfline buses operate every day when classes are in session. Currently, the Wolfline operates 12 routes on and between Main, Centennial, and the Veterinary School campuses.

Wolf Alert is the University’s emergency notification system. This service allows you to be informed in the event of an emergency via your cell phone, text message or e-mail.The system is only used when there is imminent danger to the campus like tornado warnings, evacuation orders, and active shooters.

He won a $15000 Lemelson-MIT student prize to work on improving Agricultural pest control that could strengthen the global food supply. Richter, working with Dr. Orlin Velev won in the "Eat it" category for technology based inventions that can improve agriculture.

Meredith Biechele, a sophomore studying Mechanical Engineering does stand-up paddleboard yoga in the swimimg pool at Carmichael Gym on Friday. "It was really fun, it was a real challenge. It's different than any other yoga class I have ever taken here before. I am definitely going to come here next week", Biechele said. University recreation has started a new group finess class " Paddleboard Yoga" this summer. The classes are held every other Friday at the Aquatic Center.

Aaron Maier, a senior studying Economics pushes his Kayak into the waters of Lake Higgison in Greensboro on Saturday evening. "Kayaking is an incredible physical activity. I hadn't done this for two years and I didn't realise how much fun it is to take the boat and paddle and just relax midst the serene nature. It gives you the ability to just go out in the sun and enjoy the ride. I would totally recommend it to everyone as a great summer activity, Maier said.

Red-shirted Jade Davis, a sophomore studying animal science, is excited to be on the team. "It's awesome. The girls are great. I came from Georgia, I am actually a transfer student, and I wanted to play softball. So I asked coach and he took me in," Davis said.

Kou Vang, a junior majoring in biochemistry, discusses the script with his friend S Suda Thao, an NC State alumna, while filming a video near Talley Student Union on Sunday. Vang and his group belong to the Hmong Student Association which aims to bring cultural awareness to the NC State students and local community. "Today we are filming a video with the theme of ‘Run with the pack’. This video is the opening video to our event on [Saturday] where we bring a group of Hmong high school students from the Catawba and Burke county area to tour NC State. Our goal is to promote higher education and diversity to a young group of students," Thao said.

Patrick Hoon, a junior studying Mechanical Engineering does a L-Kick Elbow Freeze during a practice dance class in Rec Centre on Tuesday evening. "I watched this crew called Super Cr3w on America's best dance crew. They were really good break dancers. I tried it in my freshman year and everyone though I would fail miserably. But I taught myself by mimicking the dancers on these shows", said Hoon when asked about how he started break dancing. Hoon has performed at several events around Raleigh. He also taught himself popping, locking and tutting. Currently, he is a part of NC State Dance group " The Productions",  which recently participated in a dance competition "Prelude Carolinas" in Durham.

Jessica Boyston who is a chef at Oval was in the reality TV show 'Hell's Kitchen Season 16'. She has been a chef for 15 years. "I was on it! Just like the flames!" Boyston exclaimed. She talked about how her stepfather and mother got her into cooking and she has been doing it since then.
