Students wait to be called to take their online exams at the Centennial Campus Testing Center in Venture IV on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2018. Due to changes in the exam schedules since the recent snow days, DELTA Testing Services has asked students to make online exam appointments before coming to the center in order to cut down on the amount of people waiting at Venture IV. Despite the shorter lines, students such as Riley Wenker, a third-year studying animal science, still had to wait up to three-and-a-half hours to take his exam.

Erica Duncan, who graduated with a bachelor’s in electrical engineering, attached a circuit and LED lights to her graduation cap for Fall 2018 Commencement. "I came to NC State and graduated in 2010 with a degree in math education, and I taught for five years,” Duncan said. “I came back and it took me three years to graduate with an electrical engineering degree.” The ceremony, which saw the graduation of 3,449 students, took place in PNC Arena on Dec. 19, 2018.

Danyale Calhoun, a fourth-year student studying business administration, dresses for her future job and shares her aspirations during the 2019 Annual Pan-Afrikan Pageant. The pageant took place on April 10 in Talley Ballroom. At the end of the pageant, Calhoun was given a sash and awarded Miss Congeniality.

Britt and Williams were involved in Agricultural Awareness Week, tending to the animals present on the Brickyard during the week of March 25-28.

During Navarasa, Case Western Nritya tells the story of a mother and her daughter who find solace in familiar dance after emigrating from home. Navarasa 2019 took place in Stewart Theatre on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019. 100% of the proceeds for the performance went to Child Rights and You Amercia, also known as CRY.

Customers enjoy food and drinks at Morgan Street Food Hall in downtown Raleigh on Sunday, Sept. 9. Morgan Street Food Hall opened this summer and offers a wide variety of vendors and eateries for customers to enjoy.

Morgan Street Food Hall, located in downtown Raleigh, is home to a number of food and retail vendors. Morgan Street Food Hall is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sundays through Wednesdays and from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursdays through Saturdays.

Nick Neptune, the general manager of Transfer Co. Food Hall in Raleigh, walks around the hall filled with pieces of art from the exhibit "Invisible Worlds". When asked about sharing the space with an art exhibit, Neptune said that "it was a terrific collaboration for everybody". "Invisible Worlds" will be open to the public Thursdays through Saturdays from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. throughout the month of June.

"Dark Matter" is meant to illustrate "how the distortion of light can reveal the presence of dark matter". The exhibit stemmed from collaboration between The Leading Strand and NC State's College of Sciences and College of Design.

The inside of "Aye-aye Behavior and Vocalizations" features a log, a stick and a screen. Users are told to beat on the log to "find grubs for baby aye-aye to eat". This piece is a part of the "Invisible Worlds" exhibit on display in downtown Raleigh at Transfer Co. Food Hall during the month of June.

"Aye-aye Behavior and Vocalizations" is a piece on display at Transfer Food Co. off of E. Davie St. in Raleigh. This piece is designed to teach observers about the aye-aye, a lemur native to Madagascar, and how a mother aye-aye may interact with its young.

The piece "Force Networks", created by both physicists and designers, is on display at the Transfer Co. Food Hall in downtown Raleigh. "Force Networks" is part of an exhibit called "Invisible Worlds", which includes collaboration between NC State University and The Leading Strand initiative. The exhibit is open to the public throughout the month of June on days Thursday through Saturday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Terrace Dining Room is a fine-dining eatery located on Centennial Campus on the same grounds as Lonnie Poole Golf Course. The dining room accepts Dining Dollars and AllCampus funds from students.

Terrace Dining Room, located on the grounds of NC State's Lonnie Poole Golf Course, offers steamed dumplings as one of their starters during lunch time. The Centennial Campus dining room allows students to pay for their food using Dining Dollars or AllCampus funds.

Ryan Emanuel, an associate professor within the College of Natural Resources and a member of the Lumbee Tribe, talks about the planned Atlantic Coast Pipeline while in his office in Jordan Hall Addition on Thursday Feb. 18. If completely approved, the natural gas pipeline will start in West Virginia and run through Virginia and into eastern North Carolina. According to Emanuel, the addition of the pipeline would adversely affect nearby low-income residents, especially people of color and Native Americans.

Logan's Hiatus, a pop rock group composed of NC State students, performs at Dance Marathon on Saturday. Dance Marathon is a 12-hour event occurring annually at NC State. Participants raise money before and during Dance Marathon to benefit Children's Miracle Network Hospitals like Duke Children’s Hospital.

Miracle Children are survivors of pediatric illness or injury. Dance Marathon is an annual 12-hour event for which participants raise money for Duke Children’s Hospital.

On the third floor of Witherspoon Student Center on Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, a Post Secret U box sits on display. Carol Fountain Nix, the director of the Craft Center, brought Post Secret U to NC State because she wanted to engage students on campus. Founded by Frank Warren in 2004, Post Secret is a system in which people can anonymously express their inner thoughts on blank post cards.

Naomi Ejim, a fourth-year student studying interdisciplinary studies and genetics, expresses herself during What's on the Table in the African American Cultural Center Living Room. What's on the Table is a bi-weekly meet-up held for members of the NC State Community to share perspective, provide support and discuss pressing issues in a safe environment.

The Birdland All-Stars, a jazz band hailing from New York, play in NC State's Stewart Theatre on Saturday. The Birdland All-Stars played musical compositions of their own along with arrangements by other groups such as Steely Dan.

Members of The Birdland All-Stars Mike Olmos on trumpet and Tommy Igoe on the drums perform in Stewart Theatre on Saturday. The Birdland All-Stars are a jazz group comprised of ten of the finest musicians in New York.

Christian Burke, a second-year student studying electrical engineering, and Mithila Khare, a second-year studying industrial engineering, work on a device that would allow drivers to reserve parking spots in advance in the Makerspace at D. H. Hill on Jan. 27, 2018 as part of Make-a-thon. Make-a-thon is an annual challenge at NC State in which student teams register to create sustainability solutions for a chance to win prizes. The challenge took place from Jan. 26 to Jan. 28.

Make-a-thon is an annual three-day challenge at NC State for which student teams work together to research design, prototype, and build new sustainability solutions.

Outside of Owen Residence Hall on Sept. 3, a LimeBike is seen parked among other bicycles. By using their NC State email address, NC State students and employees are able to ride LimeBikes at a rate of $0.50 per 30-minute ride.
