After a dominant regular season, No. 3 seed NC State men's soccer's ACC Championship aspirations fell short, falling to No. 6 seed Syracuse 3-0 in the quarterfinals.
In its first match of the ACC Men’s Soccer Championship, No. 3 seed NC State men's soccer handled No. 14 seed Louisville to advance to the quarterfinals. Hubbard: “You’re only as good as your last game.”
Trading goals with Syracuse in the second half, NC State men's soccer tied the Orange 1-1 to finish the regular season. Drew Lovelace was the goal-scorer for the Pack, finding the back of the net on a penalty in the 46th minute.
Logan Erb and NC State men's soccer spoiled Duke’s senior night with a wire-to-wire victory. The match was NC State’s first win over the Blue Devils since 2019 and the first in Durham since 2009. Hubbard: “It’s a lot of firsts. It’s a big deal.”
Finishing the non-conference slate 7-0-1, NC State men's soccer drew with UNC-Greensboro 1-1 after an 84th-minute equalizer by Drew Lovelace. Hubbard: “Statistically, it’s a game that obviously favored us heavily, but we need to do better.”
Posting its 11th clean sheet of the season, No. 6 NC State men's soccer defeated Notre Dame 3-0 in South Bend. The Pack is back on track as it looks on to face No. 19 UNCG and No. 10 Duke next week.
Donavan Phillip extended his scoring streak to six games and led No. 2 NC State men's soccer past UNC-Wilmington on the road. The Pack is now 8-0-2, one win or tie away from matching the program’s longest unbeaten-streak of 11.
In its first match ranked No. 1 nationally, NC State men's soccer played to a 1-1 draw at Pitt, snapping its season-opening shutout streak. Donavan Phillip netted his 13th goal of the season, but the Wolfpack couldn’t maintain its lead.

Eight games into the season, NC State men's soccer finally earned the No. 1 spot in the United Soccer Coaches Poll. Led by a high-scoring offense and backed by a defense that still hasn’t let up a goal, Hubbard’s Wolfpack looks unstoppable.
Another shutout for No. 2 NC State men's soccer as it dominated Boston College 2-0 in its first road contest of the season. Donavan Phillip netted both goals, extending his season total to 12, most in Division I.
It was a slow start for No. 5 NC State men's soccer, but by the end, it came away with a 4-0 victory against Stetson and another clean sheet. Payne: “They were kind of mucking it up a little bit in the middle, making it hard for us.”

Through the last four games, NC State mens soccer hasn’t let up a goal, and at the heart of the defense is goalkeeper Logan Erb. Hubbard: “If you continue to persevere and work hard, you’ll get your shot. And that’s what [Erb] has done.”
