Securing its first win over Pitt since 2018, NC State women's soccer took down the Panthers 1-0 in a defensive showdown. The Pack is 3-0 in October, on pace to qualify for the ACC tournament with three games remaining. Just the six teams make the conference tournament.

In its first game with head coach Gary Higgins at the helm, NC State women's soccer fell 3-0 to James Madison. Higgins: “We’re building something here. It’ll take some time.”
