Grace Hartman and Angelina Napoleon placed first and second at Nuttycombe Invitational, leading women’s NC State women's cross country to victory at the stacked event. The men’s team struggled, with its top racer finishing 172nd.
Placing four runners in the top 10, NC State women's cross country claimed the title at the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational. The Wolfpack men finished 11th, while additional athletes competed at the Dill Family Foundation Invitational.
NC State cross country opened its 2025 season with a statement, as the women’s team won the Adidas XC Challenge and the men placed third. Putman: “Our team definitely preaches doing everything right every day.”
