On Saturday, June 20, 2026, an estimated 180,000 Canes fans packed downtown Raleigh to celebrate the Carolina Hurricanes’ first Stanley Cup in 20 years. The parade began on Hillsborough Street, traveled toward the NC State Capitol and ended with a rally at City Plaza.
Coach Rod Brind’Amour, who was on the ice the last time this city celebrated a Cup, was left completely speechless. “I’m so happy that we were able to do this for everyone. Because clearly, they were excited about it.” Brind’Amour said.
